“Fliuch” — translating to wet — is a feminist, research-led project exploring the reclamation of the Irish language, Gaeilge.
Overview: Fliuch culminates in a series of costumes, props, and images presented across multiple formats, including a photoshoot and an illustrated publication. The project explores themes of queer embodiment, shame, and the reclamation of language, challenging how Irish has historically been framed through conservative and patriarchal narratives.

My role: Art direction and production lead for the photoshoot. I developed the visual concept, designed and sourced costumes and props, and directed the shoot from pre-production through to final imagery.
